Islandia, Simple Script Font
Islandia is a relaxed script font with wide characters. Its uppercase positions contain lowercase forms with leading tails or swashes instead of conventional capital letters.
Islandia's character mapping is central to how it works: typing an uppercase letter selects a decorated lowercase form. This offers a direct way to explore a swashed beginning without treating the font as a conventional uppercase-and-lowercase family.
Try it for a casual wordmark, short greeting, or laid-back title. Use the preview to compare the beginning of your word in uppercase and lowercase positions and choose the form that suits the layout.
